We are experienced in treating most orthopedic conditions in adults from headaches/neck pain, pinched nerves, shoulder/elbow pain, back pain of all types and hip/knee/foot/ankle issues, and any area where movement is impacted, and one is unable to exercise. We excel at finding the area of tightness and pain, and addressing these, but also finding the source of the pain or problem and creates a plan to treat the whole person.
We can also help with long term exercise and wellness programs to keep you feeling healthy and strong. Strength training is an important part of maintaining gains in therapy and he will happily and skillfully create exercise programs to suite your needs and goals, and also guide you through proper exercise form.
In Michigan legally a client can be treated for 21 days before a physician referral is needed (MD, DO, PA, NP, DDS, DPM). Every state has different laws governing physical therapy care. After the first visit a typed up initial evaluation is typed up and faxed to your primary care/referral source.
Referrals can be faxed to us at 616-327-6372.
I’ve done PT before and it didn’t help. Why should I do it again?
One phrase we use often is that every kind of treatment works for somebody but nothing works for everyone. This explains why a physical therapy treatment might not have been effective for you. The key is having a thorough evaluation to see what kind of treatment is most appropriate. we work to find the cause of the cause of the pain and create a program to treat the whole body and person, not just the initial symptom.
